Tim, See you in the bar. We are also playing in the Championship section. I believe that Pageantry was chosen as it is the set piece for the Pilkington's contest which is being held mid-November. We're playing Pageantry in the Championship section on Sunday, and the test piece for the 1st section on Saturday is James Cook - Circumnavigator by Gilbert Vinter which in my opinion is technically much harder, although Pageantry is the more difficult to pull off effectively. We only played Pageantry a couple of years ago at the Grand Shield in 1995. Surely there could be some system so that contest organisers can liaise with one another to ensure the same test piece isn't set at one contest too soon after it was used at another? Anyway, hope to see some of you cheering us on....as we defend our title :) -- Tim Morgan, Bass Trombone, Woolley Pritchard Sovereign Brass. -- unsubscribe or receive the list in digest form, mail a message of 'help' to listserver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -- unsubscribe or receive the list in digest form, mail a message of 'help' to listserver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
