This may be A reason to play but it is no more RIGHT than playing simply 
for the enjoyment and entertainment provided by the music itself. People 
have different motives behind their music making. I don't object if some 
people glorify God through music. However, I know of plenty of other 
people in lower section brass bands who play purely to glorify beer. Who is 
to say they are wrong?!?!?

P.S. Personally, I strike a balance between brass and beer and glorify 
them both as often as possible (though not simultaneously!).
