Anyone on the list at Reading at the weekend (15/11)?  Apparently, there
are now only 8 bands competing after 11 of the original 19 withdrew.
The main reason given is that the test piece (Isaiah 40) is too hard.
This is surprising, considering that the test piece for Reading is
selected by a ballot of the competing bands!!
