There must be loads of brass players who for one reason or another prefer
not to play in contesting bands, perhaps (for example) because the demands
of their work make the necessary commitment impossible.

If you live anywhere near Didcot, Newbury, Wantage, Abingdon... and would
like to play in a band that values enthusiasm but only rehearses once a
week (Wednesday evenings), please get in touch. Our repertoire is varied
and can be adjusted to accommodate the players we have, and we have our own
rehearsal hall. We perform publicly at least a dozen times a year, mostly
in the summer, and specialise in contributing atmosphere to local village
fetes and the like.

Of course if you or your kids are just learning a brass instrument: our
training band rehearses on Sundays.
