Yes, I know this because I was there for 5 years and remember having these strange instruments in our band. D.Y.R.M.S. stands for "Duke of Yorks Royal Military School". I don't know what the 6 stands for though. This school is in Dover, England. I served my school days there from 1951-1956 if this is any help with the date you are looking for. I would be very interested to know what part of the planet you inhabit and how you came about this instrument. Please e-mail me privately to: bossanova@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Also, if there are any other "Dukies" (old boys, or students) on the list, I would love to hear from you.
