Hi everyone!

Just come home from the pub after band and wondered if anyone wanted to
continue our debate re. conductors paying their accomodation costs when
staying in hotels with bands at contests.

I firmly believe that bands, as employers of their conductor, should meet
all necessary and relevant travelling and accomodation costs for activities
away from the bands main rehearsal room.

Conversly our Treasurer feels that bands should  flat fee to conductors
which would include travelling to rehearsals, contests etc. and overnight
accomodation.  Thus the conductor would be expected to pay the same as
everyone else for a weekend away (on the gounds that he's already been paid it).

Doues anyone else have any thougts?
