Sorry I've not got a full set of Blackpool (Mineworkers' Gala) results as my
lift home left early but what I do have follows:

1.      Grimethorpe (Surprise, surprise!)
2.      Every Ready
3.      Fishburn
4.      Cwmamman Institute (Tower Colliery)

10.     Point of Ayr (PowerGen)

We're really pissed off because we thought we played well - but how many
bandsmen have said that over the years?!  I'll say no more since I didn't
hear all the bands placed higher than us.
