Maybe this is a very stupid answer, but I don't think most people have access to a news server and Usenet news software. I think more people have the use of a mail server, so a listserv can reach more people. As a past list administrator I know that what Nigel says about the time administering the list is probably unavoidable, especially as the list gets larger. We can all help by properly unsubscribing when we change addresses etc, to save him having to clean up after us. Thanks Nigel for providing this service to us all! It's great to find out what hard core bandies are *really* like! I'd love to down a few bitters with you lot!
