A few players from the City of Oxford Band heard the performance by FCB. 
In general, the opinion was that they played well, but were a bit 
uninspired musically. Their principal cornet and soprano players were 
reportedly very good (although not as good as the Principal Cornet of the 
City of Oxford Band!!!!!!!!!!!).

At the end of the day, they probably deserved their Championship Section 
allocation. In years to come, they may be a force to be reckoned with in 
this area.

BUT they'll have to beat ME first!!!!!!!
