For the uninitiated, the regional committee exist only for the purpose of=

running the regional contest (may be different in Scotland?).

The local associations (Southern Counties, Oxfod, East Anglia, London &
Home Counties etc) are all independant band associations who are
represented on that committee (in the case of London region, 2 reps per
band association).

Is there a difference between the SCABA committee and the regional

committee, or are they the same thing? I've never been exactly clued in

to the multi-layer administration of the brass band community. I know

that I and others with whom I have spoken today would like to make their

views known regarding Oxford's disqualification on Sunday. In your

opinion, who is the best person to write to? Is there an address for the

brass band registry we could write to?
