I can't comment about the possible contents of the concert, only on a few
visits to concerts "down South". (Bournemouth being right on the South
Coast of England)

I find it annoying, and a little patronising when the Big Bands from Up
North come down to give performances. The standard of playing is, of course
excellent. Unfortunately the choice of music does not really inspire. Still
I guess that because the roots of BB are in the North and there is still a
tendency in the South to look down on BBs, so the play list is tailored for
the widest appeal.

That said it will still be worth going along - Black Dyke will be
brilliant!
