Rod, and Andy,
this is my view also.  If every player has a valid (and current) 
registration photo-card that is all we should need.

After recent discussions on this list regarding registration problems, I 
was talking to some non-banding friends of mine.  They were amazed at the 
lengths the various contest committees go to, and surprised that bands put 
up with it!

On the other hand, having a form forces you to make sure that every 
position (including reserves) is filled by a registered player.

Administration.  I love it.  Not.
