RE: registration



I fully agree with all the points Cameron raises - perhaps his band
would like to join SCABA - members don't have to sign anything even on
the day of the contest as long as they have a valid card. This applies
to the Folkestone, Brighton & Crawley Entertainment contest.

As I wrote in an earlier post, I can't really see the need for signature

forms as well as registration cards. What does the signature form
actually 
achieve? As long as every player on stage is a registered member of the 
band (and has been for the required length of time - 4 weeks?) and as 
long as the band does not field too many players, does it make any 
difference whether or not they sign their names on a signature form as
well?
