News from the Australian National Championships is that a protest is/has been lodged
because a former National Champion band has brought out a tenor horn player from
England under the guise she is going for a job with a local construction company.
She arrived 4 days prior to the C'ships. This same band eveidently have taken out
a court injunction against the organising committee so they can't stop her playing.
The band claim this is all above board, if so, why the legals.
My bet is she'll be back in England before the cock crows. This is certainly not
in the spirit of community banding. Rules are one thing, this is horse s**t.
The win at all cost mentality is divisive.
