The rule or Regulations as they are now called ie.21 talks of registration with the band at least 42 days before the contest Reg 22 seems to me to be referring to a professional muscian reg' for 12 months and played at least 60% of the bands engagements. Which regulation are you referring to in the above comment Tony? Also one of the protesting bands ( I heard ) last year delberatly played a March that did not conform to the contest guidelines , was warned not to play it but did. Apparently no band protested and the incident was swept under the carpet. Surely the governing body's have a responsibility to enforce rules/reg when they are aware that reg's are not followed. I also wonder if your band protested at the Melbourne incident and if so why no protest at Newcastle?
