Re: Where should the flugel sit?



As a flugel player, I enjoy sitting between the front row coronets and the
solo horn.

Many times, the voicing of the flugel alternates between the coronet and horn
sections.  Being seated between them makes it much easier to feel part of that
section.  This placement also makes it easier to hear the enitre band,
especially the basses.
