There is also an Eflat helicon with similar inscription here in
Edinburgh.  We understand this to have been previously used in (or made
for) the Duke of York's Royal Military School (in Kent). 

Ours is Boosey & Hawkes, thus 1930 or later; the Hawkes & Son instrument
is probably from the 1920s.
