Isn't calling it a flugal instead of flugel just going the same way as
the repiano cornet which is just a corruption of ripieno?
At this rate, brass band players will end up with new names for every
instrument that no-one else understands (in addition to all the names
the bass trombonist gets called anyway :-) ).
