Me. It's good to get the chance to get my teeth into a piece of difficult
music every now and then. And as we all know there's then the opportunity
to meet and 'socialise' with players from other bands - something that is
otherwise not done enough.

Summer park jobs are all very well, and can be enjoyable, but the music
liked by the general public is not always very challenging.

'Proper' concert-hall concerts are brilliant, but speaking as a band
secretary, the associated organisation and risk detract from my playing
enjoyment.
