I have also listened to brass bands, read about brass bands, written internet pages for brass bands, played in a brass quintet with other people from brass bands, talked about brass bands, and eaten cabbage. The university authorities have, with a complete lack of foresight, scheduled two of my exam papers for a day when I was supposed to be playing with the band - the cheek! I'll have to apply for compensation. Cameron P.S. Mummy's turned into a Scotsman.
