...and good to meet you on Sunday, David. The Second section was won by 
Langbaurgh Brass, second were Wetherby Band, who played my Bridge on 
the Wharfe.  The Third Section was won by South Milford and the Fourth
Section by Dynamix Brass.  Not many bands turned out - I'd be interested
to hear why there should be so many withdrawals, which for the first and
second sections really spoilt the day.  Still, our trophy cabinet 
will look less like a 'web site' for the next twelve months...

Drighlington played 'Journey into Freedom', Harrogate played Thomas 
Wilson's 'Sinfonietta' and Langbaurgh played 'Dimensions'.

The moral of the day was: if you want to use all your pedal timps, book a 
big coach!
