Hello all,
I understand that an upcoming episode of the Thames Police series 
'The Bill' will feature the Brass Band Police. 

I don't have a great deal of information as yet. I only learn of this 
on April 1 this year, but apparently some members of this special 
Scotland Yard unit will be working with Sun Hill's CID unit in a 
major undercover operation to expose a group of Trumpet and French 
horn player using Vibrato in Brass Bands ilegally.

I can reveal that our own list member Peter Younghusband will have a 
small role in the episode, his charter, Big Bill Fishowner will be a 
love interest for Polly Page. Unfortunately Peter is shot in the 
opening scene and dies as a result of bullet wound to the, ummm, 
bottom register.

I'll keep you all posted, apparenty a number of other Brass Band 
luminaries will also make appearances.
