Hi All,
First City Brass make their contest debut with me conducting next week. I
had to miss the areas due to the clash with the Welsh Region on the same
day. If we had known Gordon Higginbottom was the Adj. before we entered we
wouldn't have been going though. He has produced some of the craziest
decisions I have ever seen or heard. One of those judges who goes in with a
hidden agenda and the band that wins is the one that comes closest to
second guessing him. 

Presumably, if he reads this I have scuppered whatever chances we might
have had anyway.

See you there or at the Masters tomorrow.
