Hello All,
Just a quick note to let those interested know, Waratah-Mayfield 
Brass Band won the East Coast of Australia Band Championship held in 
Newcastle yesterday. Entries were somewhat down this year so in the 
Brass One Section there were only 2 competitors, Waratah and 
Warringah, but a win is a win :))

Waratah also won the Festival of Bands, an Entertainment Contest 
where a 25min entertainment Programme is played, in this event we 
were pitted against 7 other Brass and Concert Bands. So all in all a 
good day for us.
