On BBb Bass (and GG Contra Bass - that's the GG below BBb!) I use a
Vincent Bach Number 7, mainly because it was the largest mpc I could find
at the time. (1991)
I would also recommend trying some of the Perantucci range. I have
recently purchased one for use on Eb Bass. The range is designed by Tuba
players and extends from small mpcs for Eb and F tubas right down to huge
'Buckets' for BBb and CC tubas with lots of small variations to suit your
personal preferences.
Perantuccis can be obtained from South Wales Band Supplies in Cwmbran,
South Wales. Phone No. 01633 - 871506

The best advice, though, is always try the mouthpiece before you buy!
