Re: Mouthpieces - Denis Wick or Vincent Bach ?

Hilary

The bass players in my band seem to tip their chins onto their chest and
produce a combination of a bottom lip pout and the noise that a horse makes
when it vibrates its lips together (sorry guys, best description I could
think of).

In terms of the coating, I thought that they were Gold or Silver plated -
the silver seems to last a lot longer.

Have you tried a Giardinelli (New York) mouthpiece - screw rim and
different cup sizes made to order. Pretty dear I gather.
