Good one Chris,just a point about this years national from a listener to all
bands hymns on the friday (A grade). Why do so many conductors choose
arrangements with so much going on that you don't know what your'e listening
to.Everythimg from Sparkes Partita to Balls Resurgam.Coming to contesting
somewhat recently I thought the Hymn was for
sound,balance,blend,ensemble.etc.and not an arranging contest,this does not
mean that there was anything wrong with the way the Hymn was arrangd. Someone
please enlighten me. On a lighter note.

Chris have you thought of offering N H to the Americans to show them how to
make trumpets sound like cornets.(its all in the mouthpiece)LOL
