As a bass trom/ euph player myself, I use a 1 1/2 G on my trombone, and a
Denis Wick 3AL for the euph. I find that when I use the Bach mouthpiece on
the euph, the sound doesn't feel quite right(though that's probably
personal), and it is much too hard work. I tried using a Wick 1AL for a
while, but while I could get a bigger rounder sound, it was also too hard
up top. Most English euph players use either a wick 3 or 4, I think.
