Having previously worked in a music shop, I feel I should add my
penny's-worth to this conversation. It was the case with all the printed
music we both received from suppliers and posted out to customers that VAT
was NOT chargeable if the parcel was sent by Royal Mail. If however a
courier firm was used, this was not to be classed as Post-And-Packing
(VAT-Free), but as Carriage (VAT-able). Does this clear the issue any ?
