You do know that when the list got really going a couple of years ago I contacted the BB. They weren't interested - saying they know nothing about the Internet and that's that. Soon afterwards they published an article saying that any secretaries wanting to publish their e-mail address in the BB would have to take out an advert - a flagrant difference over the change of contact policy for postal addresses. I suspect that this policy has changed, it was unworkable anyway. You remember of course the difference in attitude between them and BBW over the Cyber Cafe meeting/broadcast a couple of years ago. I've all but given up trying to work with the BB. I still buy it - but only for the adverts in the back. Even they are becoming irrelavant as we run our own vacancies page and concerts are often advertised here. They know my e-mail address, and from there my `phone number, should they wish to disuss joining forces. As far as I am aware no British journalist is on the list, contrast this with Chris Earl in Australia. -Nigel -- Nigel Horne. Arranger, Composer, Conductor, Typesetter. Keeper of the brass band group of the Internet. njh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.smsltd.demon.co.uk/music.htm -- unsubscribe or receive the list in digest form, mail a message of 'help' to listserver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
