In a message dated 7/24/98 9:12:47 AM, Angela Tregaskes wrote about Cyberband possibilities in England, Australia, and Greece, and I wondered if there were any way that American BBanders could join in the fun. It is admittedly more difficult to find a mutually convenient location in the States, given the long distance from shore to shore. But then, Angela wrote: <<I doubt we'll have a proper meeting this year now - though ad hoc >meetings often happen at contests of course. I quite like the idea of Canada.>> How about tying in a Cyberband with the International Tuba-Euphonium Conference (ITEC) scheduled for May 30-June 3, 2000 at the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada?
