Well here it is - from the horses mouth as I said.

I believe that Mark told Grimey about 6 or 7 weeks ago that he was leaving. I
do not know the exact reason about his decision but Dyke were not on the scene.
The band themselves had apparently become a little disheartened with Mark's
committment. He was picking and choosing jobs etc...

Grimey approached or were approached by (not sure) Ian Shires and signed him
up.....you can make your own conclusions from there on I'm sure.....

Hope this helps to clarify the situation. If anybody else knows different, then
please shout me down!!!
