Richard,

Great story!  Mine is simpler.  One of my high school students was a bit
careless between tunes at our last concert and accidently let his slide go.
When he lunged to retreive it(unsuccessfully), he folded his inner slides to a
60 degree angle.  Unfortunately, he was playing his father's old 88H.
