have a look to the Gordon Higginbottom serie at Kirklees.
There's a nice piece called Chromascope or something like that. I'll check it.
Or call Gordon directly (number is in the bandsman), he was teaching (still is?)
at several colleges all his life.

Hi everyone,

Can anyone on the list suggest a main college assessment recital piece 
that's at a decent level. It needs to have piano acomp. I already 
have John Golland's 'Sonata for Horn and Piano' on the go, but I 
could do with a second piece of around the same level.

Any suggestions of tried and tested items would be more than welcome.
