Hi Alec,
Found out same as you, no advance warning. They played the William Tell
'cause that was the 'Brassed Off' test piece. No music  - brilliant, so
tight. They played the Largo for L G to sing to. Don't be so picky, just so
long as a band appears on prime time TV and a classical music show to boot,
it could have been Noel Edmunds or some such!!
