I recently rang JAW Arts re. engagements for London Parks, only to discover
that they will now be organized in-house - what happened to Philip Biggs?.

Several telephone calls later I discovered that they will be seeking advice
from the Fed. as to which bands they should book.   Also, that a ceiling
will be set for fees.

The ceiling is less than SWT Woodfalls charged last year so presumably
London will not be hosting YBS or Fodens etc. in 1999.  The London based
bands may yet have the last laugh :-)))))))

Apparently, an advert will appear shortly inviting bands to apply for dates
in July and August, but unlike previous years, tender forms will not be
issued!

Finally, the concern is, without sponsorship they may not be able to afford
bands at all !!!!!!!!!
