Andy,

I think its a good idea, although it will take everyone time to trawl
through web-sites (which people might not have), and there will no doubt be
web-sites that people don't know exist that are worthy of consideration. 
Also, the best band website award should be split into 2 categories: 1 for
websites created by a member of the band/public, and 1 for web-sites
created by a professional web company (i.e. where the band has paid for it
doing e.g. Dyke).
