I'm interested in the pros and cons of this for us so I would be grateful
if you could let me know your thoughts from any responses (sensible of
course<G>) that you get...TIA.

bands I see there are a few. Appears to me that it doesn't cost anything to
register, doesn't seem any further requirements to what we have now and had
to have to get a lottery grant (ie constitution, accounts, trustees,
charitable objectives etc). Came up with us as we were going to collect for
ourselves carol playing in a shopping centre and were asked for our charity
reg no...manged to get around it, but it may be useful for the future for
not much extra effort.

Not as good as you hoped?...1st Section?...sorry I didn't manage to see you
at leamington...we were there playing in the 3rd section where Mr Newsome
thought we had a "variable" performance (ie good in places and didn't like
it much in others) but still gave us 3rd out of 6 bands and nice that he
mentioned "good Solo Horn and baritones" in one place.
Played in the 2nd section where Steve Sykes gave us useful comments and 5th
out of 8...but pleasing for us as we beat Birmingham and Avonbank!<G>.
I'm afraid after this i was in the bar and we left at 6pm so didn't do the
rounds like I would have hoped...perhaps a future time (Milton Keynes?
Midland Area?)
