Very nice, and informative site! I work for a music performance touring company in Berkeley, California called World Projects International Music Productions. I am the Europe Director. We annually have performance tours and festivals happening throughout the Far East, South Pacific, Europe, as well as the United States. In the Spring of the year 2000, I have the University of Washington (state) Marching Band on tour throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland. During their tour they have asked me to schedule a number of joint performances with local groups that have "marching/brass band" instrumentation. Do you think your group would be interested in doing a joint performance, followed by a social gathering of some sort? The Univ. of Washington Marching Band would have between 100 and 150 people. They have included their present members, as well as alumni, and cheerleaders. They are a very well respected performing group, and can certainly take part in any fund-raising campaign you may wish to schedule. They have a choreographed and very high-energy show that typically lasts for 45 minutes or so. Tentative dates are around St. Patrick's Day in March 2000. Exact dates will be set in the near future. Please let me know your thoughts on this proposal. I can be reached at this e-mail address, as well as: World Projects Craig Gentsch P.O. I look forward to hearing from you. ***If this is not possible, do you have any suggestions on another band, such as yours, who may be interested?
