Last time I saw him, aside from being a marvellous Tuba player, Richard Dickens
was collecting and exchanging old and rare Brass Band recordings.  You could try
contacting him as I'm sure by now he's quite an authority.  I don't have his
number to hand but if you're interested drop me a mail privately, and I'll put
you in touch.
