One of the best concerts that I've played in in recent times was with
Chinnor Silver (as a guest) in December. Rather than putting on a
traditional Xmas concert, they did a Western theme night (converting the
village hall into a saloon, players dressing up etc) with the
appropriate music. The hall was packed out and everyone had a great time
(the beers and party games must have helped!!!!!)

Music played was along the lines of:

Magnificent Seven
The Good The Bad and The Ugly
Hoe Down (from Copland's Rodeo)
Hootenanny (no surprise there)
Wandering Star

and so forth (the memory strains at this point................)
