Hi - I have come across a couple of manuscript attempts which have been
largely unsuccessful with the bands that have played them. I think that the
problem was mainly to do with breathing - unless you have a band of circular
breathers, I think it would be very hard to pull off. I have suggested to a
friend to transcribe it from the choral version - Agnus Dei - as this is
much more manageable in terms of range and intervals and the job is half
done.
