Hello everyone,

as a new subscriber to brass band mailing list I can't comment on 
any of your discussions. So I'll tell you a bit about myself.
I'm Becky Plant,19, have played various brass instruments and am 
now at uni studying music, specializing on the trombone. 
I come from Leicester, where all of my family play in the Ratby 
band, has anyone heard of it???
we were Midlands 1st section champion band a couple of years 
ago and are now in Championship. We have also recently been 
asked to play at the grand shield this year!!!
As I am down in Chichester(SouthCoast) I am away from my home 
band and missing it very much. although I am going back to play 
with them for the area!!!!

Can anyone recommend any lively, fun and hard working 1st or 
Championship section bands in West Sussex as I would really like 
to get hold of a band while I am away from home?????!!!!!
