I tried a Vincent Bach a few years ago and felt that although the rim was
far more comfortable than a Wick, the sound was very brash and edgy. The 2/3
wick's are far more mellow to listen to.

I know someone who has removed the rim off a Bach and put it on Wick so
enjoying both worlds!!
