Folks, all I can say is thanks! especially Martyn Pattinson and more
particularly Claire Warden for your comments.

I expected the story with band committees and the inumerable problems
which crop up from time to time was not just an isolated one. It's
heartening to know that even the 'better bands' have their share of
, whinging and backstabbing too; and indeed the problem of everyone
knowing what should be done and how to do it, but few actually taking
their ass of the chair long enough to do it..... (I must hold myself
back!)

PS Claire the =A340 due incidient is a classic.. you must be reading my
mind... the stories I could tell...
