If a band can support itself i don't think players should have to pay subs.
If you think about it every person actually earns money for the band anyway
every person is sitting in their position for their talent and people pay to
listen
to these talents.
Other forms of music on an even level actually play each player to
play.
so if you think about it what with the time & effort as well as petrol etc
people give
and the money they earn the band doing performances if think they give alot
anyway.
This is  IMO.
