You may have missed the fact that the contest had to be moved at short
notice (in terms of booking venues that is) from Basildon as the company
running the Towngate Theatre have gone into liquidation (or something like
that).
It's not ideal and I know that Dave Hobbs would be the first to agree with
that but when you only have 6 months to find and book suitable venues, you
don't have much choice.
