No member of the committee is of pensionable age.  Two officers are retired
but for reasons other than age.  

Some members of the committee and stewards will be playing as well as working
on the day.  Arriving for 8 am and leaving well after you have started
celebrating or commiserating, in the bar.

A lot of time goes into the planning of the contest as it does every year
(more than usual this year with the change of venue).  The facilities and
conditions at the venue dictate which halls should be used.  When you play at
Stevenage this will all become apparent.
