Thanks for that Nigel. I think Dave originally developed the software in order to produce good quality parts for his sax' ensemble, however, I don't feel that this piece of software should be dismissed as being of no use to the band person. It can be used, for instance, to write out good quality script instead of those awful bits of paper the conductor hands out when he wants you to cover some other part. I remember one conductor who used to give them out like confetti when the area contest was looming. Music students or anyone else interested in producing sheet music could do worse than give it a go, it's shareware and the full item costs less than 30 As for the above problem, Dave sits in front of me at band and I may be in a position to exercise a little arm bending....watch this space.
