Dear List,

I am in the process of joining a new Band and I was wondering what Bands
there are around here for me to join !  I live in Abingdon, which if you
dont know is South of Oxford.  It supports 2 Brass Bands but they are
both only 4th Section and I need a bit more of a challenge.  I would be
willing to travel about 1/2 hour from home preferrably not on Motorways
!  Good Nights for Practice are Tuesdays/Thursdays with Mondays being
the worst !!   

I would be hopefully looking at a 2nd Section but dont let that put you
off naming people to go visit, I want to have a real good look around
before I make my choice.  I have my own instrument (B+H Soverign) and
would be interested in 1st/Solo Horn at that level, obviously adjusted
if its higher/lower section !!!  

So . . .  what do you think ?
